American Government Camp, based in southwest Missouri, is an exciting educational experience designed for junior-high and highschool students. With a week-long schedule, this opportunity is especially targeted at home educators, but is open to any student 13 or older. (Younger students are welcome to attend if accompanied by a parent.) Held every two years and run concurrently with each major election cycle, this camp combines educational sessions, hands-on grassroots campaign experience, and opportunities to meet and interact with candidates.
Our goal is two-fold. First, we hope to introduce students to the political process and encourage them to make a difference by their involvement. Secondly, we desire to help elect conservative candidates who support our Judeo-Christian values and belief in limited constitutional government.
Food and lodging are provided, and the only cost is a minimal registration fee. Led by trained staff and AGC alumni, students and parents will experience an exhaustingly fun week that will inform and inspire. Join us for AGC 2010! (Early registration deadline is October 13.
